Sundown comin’ on a Friday night All I wanna do is Rock n Roll But the way I’ve been livin’ ain’t so forgivin’ And it’s wearing upon my soul Life goes fast it’ll kick you in the ass And leave you a runnin’ low I’ve got the number so I make the call Then I’m all ready to go, go, go! I’m not advocating anything illegal Or dangerous to society It’s just one man’s opinion But it’s always worked for me I need a little Gasoline For my Party Machine Stone cold sober and it’s got me thinkin’ Buddy, there ain’t no way To walk through a life that cuts like a knife And gets bloodier every day I think it’s high time to numb my mind Give thinkin’ just a little rest Call ‘em fair weather friends, but them’s the type of friends That a guy like me likes best Call it some kind of weakness if you want to But your words don’t bother me You can call it inner strength that you’ve found I call it mediocrity Chorus Sunrise comin’ on a Saturday I’m feelin’ wrung out again But no matter what happens, toe keeps a tappin’ And I crank it on up to 10 You want me to settle down? Best quit coming around, cause you ain’t no friend to me. I thought I told you once before, baby Sleep is my mortal enemy Just in case you didn’t understand me Well I’ll inform you of the facts While you’re fixin’ up your life the way you want it I’m fixin for a heart attack Chorus

Staring out the window Of an empty dining hall Through the middle distance of the night Before me lies a kingdom Once a battlefield Where you and I once went to fight Blood in our eyes Voices and swords held high Raise your chalices of ale toward the sky now One more time for you my friend There’s a place where you will long reside with honor In the Hall of Champions Many came to lay their claim To these rolling meadows Lusting for this fertile virgin land Without remorse or mercy We spilled their blood in rivers Fiercest of the fiercest of the clans As we fought side by side We knew that we could never die Raise your chalices of ale toward the heavens One more time for you my friend There’s a place where you will long reside with honor In the Hall of Champions When the war was over And victory was won Who would be the ruler of the land? The council of the elders Deliberated fast You would reign and I would be your hand And I silently wept Cutting your throat as you slept Raise your chalices of ale toward the moonlight One more time for you my friend There’s a place where you will long reside with honor In the Hall of Champions

Baby, I ain’t having fun no more I do believe that you and I are done for sure And I think it’s time for you to be walking out that door What are you waiting for? I don’t believe a word when I look into your eyes My intuition tells me otherwise And when I think about the years that I was blind You know it drives me out of my mind Because you’re lyin’ while I’m lyin next to you Ooh baby, I just want to know the truth You’re tellin’ lies while I just lie right there beside you It’s just like being buried alive in a coffin built for two Now honey when this first started out You used to be so sweet Now all I want to do is bind your hands and feet And toss your thieving, junkie ass out on the street Do you hear me?

It is an age of faded glory The fruit is dying on the vine The thunder used to bring the rain But it hasn’t come in such a long, long time Mighty Thor, asleep on the job We’re through with trying to appease the gods We’re gonna take back what is ours We’ll bring the rain and we will reign Thunder - Thieves of Thunder Stealing Thunder - Thieves of Thunder To the gates of Valhalla With stealth and agility We’re just a band of mortal men With other world abilities Past the guards and up the steps To the palace in the clouds Into the chamber where mighty Thor Is fast asleep and snoring loud The hammer we take, then quietly make Our way to the exit to make our escape But in our haste, we make a mistake We trip and we stumble right into a vase It falls and it breaks He suddenly wakes There’s rage on his face and it’s on with the chase Increasing heart rate There’s no time to waste Race towards the gates now before it’s too late He can’t keep our pace He curses the fates He freezes in place and screams into space It precipitates The world celebrates Now we feast on grapes from silvery plates With chaste babes in tasty white lace. Chorus

The songs contained on this record represent backlogged material which was written during the 3 years or so when we were trying to put out “The Dirty Half Dozen”. All of the songs were written by Tay Hamilton, Jerry Cass, Ty Blosser, Logan O’Connor, Parker Clark-Whitton, Tony Lee and Aaron Howell (Except “You Ain’t Nothin’ Special” written by Tony’s brother Damian Christian Wilburn and their old band Road Crew and “All My Heroes Are in Hell” which was written by an amazing band from Seattle called All Bets on Death).

This album would not exist without the brilliance and hard work of Tay Hamilton and Jerry Cass to whom we are forever indebted and for whom we are proud to call brothers and friends. It was a pleasure serving with you, fellas.

“Thieves of Thunder” was tracked, mixed and mastered by Steve Goldberg aka “Esteban Goldbergo” in his basement (That’s right. His basement. Wanna fight about it?). We started on the day weed officially became legal in Colorado. That would be New Years Day 2014. We had tremendous hangovers which were only exacerbated by drinking a bunch of random foreign booze Steve had in his liquor cabinet including an Italian Coffee liqueur called “Borghetti”. We ate a lot of really bad food and had a lot of fun. We finished the day Goldberg’s hard drive said “You are done making this record. If you try anything else, I will fuck up the whole thing. Let it go, dude.”

The artwork was done by Joshua Finley. He nearly went insane doing this fabulous watercolor painting. He hauled the canvas around with him all over town, painting at every possible opportunity so that it would be done on time. At one point, he painted for nearly 24 hours straight in the lobby of his apartment complex, drinking beers and bourbon before the head of security put a hand on his shoulder and said “Josh, maybe you should take a break and get some sleep. People are heading out to work and all they see is you, drunk, covered in paint, swearing out loud.” Josh is a bad man.

We wish to thank everyone. Hopefully, our wish will come true some day.

Much love.
